Let the wheel choose

The decision wheel starts with six dinner options, but it is really a blank canvas: replace the entries with whatever you are stuck between. Two options or twenty, every option gets an equal slice by default and the pick uses your browser's cryptographic random number generator, so the outcome owes nothing to what you secretly wanted. If one option deserves a better chance, turn on Weights in the entries panel and give it a higher number — its slice grows proportionally.

What people use it for

Dinner decisions. The classic. Everyone has an opinion but nobody wants to commit, so the wheel commits for you and the debate ends in eight seconds.

Movie and show picking. Add the five titles in the shortlist rather than scrolling the catalogue for another forty minutes.

Travel destinations. Narrow a trip down to a handful of realistic places, then spin — and notice how you feel about the answer. If you are disappointed, that itself tells you which one you actually wanted.

Task prioritisation. When every task on the list is roughly equally urgent, the choosing costs more than the doing. Spin, start, and keep the momentum.
